Buck Adams is famous, invincible and extremely comfortable with both facts. As Mister Amazing, he’s spent years saving Cedar Springs, posing for cameras and generally being the most impressive person in any available room. Then he falls in love, his powers start glitching, and a plant-powered villain with serious boundary issues decides to destroy the town.
Fortunately, Buck has help: an extremely judgmental one-eyed squirrel, an AI with no respect for his ego, and a growing collection of people who seem determined to make him emotionally functional. What follows is superhero action, botanical chaos, terrible decisions and the deeply inconvenient discovery that saving the world might be easier than becoming a better person.

Alexander Bar has spent much of his career making things up.He created many animated kids' series including Lunar Jim, Ranger Rob, Ricky Zoom and Mike the Knight, written children's books, created cartoon strips, and somewhere along the way picked up an Emmy.All perfectly respectable.Then came the squirrels.For reasons he still can't entirely explain, Alexander became fascinated by the squirrels outside his office window... their confidence, their persistence, and the unmistakable sense that they were judging his work.One in particular began showing up regularly. Staring through the glass. Making demands. Offering very little creatively.So when Mister Amazing needed a sidekick, Patch - a highly opinionated squirrel with absolutely no respect for superheroes - somehow appeared.The character may or may not be based on a real squirrel.See photograph.No further questions.
